Shopping Day 2!!
Today our shopping adventure continued at the Millenia Mall in Orlando. This mall is really nice because it caters to everyone. There are stores for people of all budgets from Gucci to Aeropostale and Forever 21. Speaking of, Forever 21 is fabulous! :)Crispers & Clothes!
Well everyone, TODAY was SHOPPING day!! We didnt make it to Orlando but supposeably we are going tomorrow.. we'll see how that works out, haha. Nonetheless, we still had a great day! First we went to Crispers for lunch.. and if you have never heard of this place.. that sucks for you! They have really great fresh food and every time I come home to visit I have to eat here atleast ONCE!! It's owned by Publix, which is also only found on the east coast, mainly in Florida. After we had a delicious lunch we went shopping where I got some very much needed shirts & some new shoes to go with my church dress ( THANK YOU MOM!!! ) I packed alittle too light and forgot my church clothes so I had to go buy something.. but it worked out for the best because I LOVE LOVE LOVE shopping!! :) Anyway, it was good to hang out with my mom and I always enjoy her company and all her great wisdom :) We also went to Ruby Tuesdays today but my family decided to skip the picture I wanted to take and bounce before I could get one. After we ate I went and visited one of my favorite families whose kids I used to babysit. It was so great to see them and the kids are getting so big! We had a LOT to catch up on and some interesting conversation, but it was the perfect end to a fabulous day! LongHoRn

Last night we ate at "LongHorn" .. it was my first time.. and it was pretty much.. UH MAY ZING! Besides being really expensive.. I thought the food was great and the company was even BETTER! If you love the food in the south you will love LongHorn! Luckily working for OG (Darden) I get a discount so I guess I technically at for free.. haha :) Anyway it was Delicious and I had so much fun with them! Jason was convinced the waitress was flirting with me, even though she had a wedding ring.. and Im engaged.. hahaha. Silly boy! I also managed to leave my phone in the bathroom.. then I left my pouch in the truck. I worry about myself sometimes lol

For me this is one of the biggest games of the year! On Sept. 19, 2009 the Florida State Seminoles (FSU) will compete against the BYU Cougs. Who will win?! I dont know.. But I will be cheering for my team decked out in GARNET & GOLD baby!!! GO FSU!!!!!!!!!!
My Latest Adventures - By LauRen
Well we went to Islands of Adventure in Orlando yesterday and besides the extreme humidity and heat I would say it was pretty fun! We got off to sort of a late start but arrived around 12:30 or 1:00 in the afternoon and stayed for about 5 hours. We would've probably stayed longer had we not been so tired, but we mostly walked around the park or waited in lines to ride the rides. We rode the Hulk twice and Dueling Dragons once. Not exactly worth the $80 dollars I spent to go, but it was entertainment and I wasnt sitting at home, so that was good! I also got to go and hang out with my girl Amy, we had a lot of catching up to do. But anyway .. these are some of the pics I snapped. Well I'm back in Florida for my annual family visit/vaca, and I must say that for the past couple of days I've been here, things have been pretty eventful! I arrived on Tuesday August 18, to a rainy Orlando Int'l .. it's great to be back in the humidity! .. Not. (It's all good though, it just makes me appreciate the desert even more!) This is what it looked like when we landed in Orlando ..The flight here was really smooth, and I bought these amazing ear plugs that help with changes in pressure so it was great to not have a bad ear ache again. The flight was really fast too. The only thing that sucks is being charged for your luggage. Southwest may be ghetto but atleast you save $30 bucks because luggage is free! Mom I no longer will make fun of you for flying Southwest, I think I might even be converted!!! ;) Anywho- I got here around 4:00 pm.. so I didn't do much the first night except hang out with the fam and the "new" puppy my brother got. At first I couldn't believe my dad actually LET my brother get something he has to take care of .. then I realized it wouldn't even be staying here.. he's keeping it at someone else's house.. hahahha - which sounds more like it ;) But things have been great so far and I'm excited to see my friends and family! Ben, I miss & love you and I hope your having a great time in Houston!

All I can say is that I love my ring and Ben did an excellent job picking it out! Thanks to my lovely sister Erin I have a beautiful photo to show it off! :) I love this picture she did an amazing job! Love you E. :) <3 On a slightly sad yet humorous side note, the night he proposed I couldn't even put it on my finger because I had jammed it a couple days before playing football at the Olive Garden work party, and it was too swollen. Way to go me! lol
Exciting News
IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!! Ben proposed to me last Friday August 7, 2009!! We are so excited to be engaged, and for me at least is still "sinking in". We dont have a date set but are leaning towards a sealing in the SLC Temple, the first week in May 2010, after Spring Semester ends. Its going to be a sacrifice but we feel that it was the right decision for our future. Ben wants to get into medical school and I am working towards getting into the UVU Dental Hygiene program, both of which are extremely selective and difficult. We believe that trying to plan a wedding while juggling school AND work would be too much, and a huge distraction. If we have more time to plan, we can do things in our spare time and not be rushed, while hopefully keeping up our grades. None the less, I know we are strong and excited to be sealed in the temple!!! :)

Hey everyone! I decided that it was necessary to make a blog.. mostly because I have a lot of free time lately and this fills in the gaps. But I also wanted to make something so that our family and friends could follow if they so choose :) I'll try to keep everything updated but I'm really bad at remembering my passwords.. so uh.. just bare with me. The last blog I made only lasted for about a week, and after that I forgot how to even get in to it .. LoL :)
